- 6 oz / 170 g Sugar

- A Few Drops of True Red Liquid Colorant
DIRECTIONS
Use caution when handling heated oils. Use disposable pipets when dispensing essential oils. Do not place undiluted essential oils in plastic ware. Carefully weigh all ingredients before you start working.
Step 1 – Melt the Butters and Oils and Soap
Combine the shea butter and apricot oil in a funnel pitcher. Microwave on high for about 90 seconds, stirring every 30 seconds, or until fully melted.
Add the melt and pour soap chunks. Microwave another 15-30 seconds, stirring every 15 seconds. Vigorously stir the soap mixture to ensure the soap and oil is emulsified.
Step 2 – Add the sugar and fragrance
Add the sugar to the soap mixture. Stir to combine.
Add the essential oil. Vigorously stir to combine. Add 6-10 drops of True Red liquid colorant. Stir to combine.
Step 3 – Pour the cubes
Working quickly, pour the scrub mixture into the cavities of the clamshell molds. Don’t worry if you spill – cleanup is easy!
Tip: if the mixture becomes too thick to pour, microwave it for 5 seconds.
Allow the molds to sit undisturbed for 5 minutes, then take a paper towel and clean the edges of the packaging. Allow to set for another 20 minutes. The scrub cubes can be popped out of the molds and stored in jars, or the covers of the clamshell molds can be snapped shut.
To use, squeeze one or two cubes in the palm of your hand. Rub over wet skin, rinse clean, and enjoy soft, glowing skin!
