Our recipe for cupcake bath poufs is easy, fast and a huge hit as a gift, for your market table, or decorative soap in your own bath.

How to Make Cupcake Bath Poufs

SUPPLIES

  • Bath Poufs
  • 1 Cupcake Tin
  • Measuring cup
  • Rubbing Alcohol in spray bottle (Optional)
  • Mixing spoon
  • Microwave safe bowl

INGREDIENTS

DIRECTIONS

Step 1
Roughly chop your Melt and Pour Soap base. Melt soap according to instructions.

Step 2
Add 1-3% Fragrance oil (for 1 lb soap base, you could add up to 1/2 oz or 1 Tablespoon fragrance).
For this tutorial we chose to use Oatmeal, Milk & Honey Fragrance Oil.

Step 3
Add a few drops of colorant (if desired).
For this tutorial we chose to use Lemon Yellow Liquid Colorant.

Step 4
Fill cupcake cups 1/2 – 3/4 full with soap base.

Step 5
Spray poufs with rubbing alcohol. (Optional)

Step 6
Place one bath pouf into the melted soap in each muffin tin hole and gently “squish” down. (There’s no need to apply too much pressure as you will want the top of the pouf to stay expanded). You can leave them as is or if you choose, you can pour a little more soap base onto the pouf once it is in place in the mold.

Step 7
Allow to cool 1-3 hours, then remove (If pouf doesn’t easily remove from mold, place in freezer for a few minutes or use a spatula to scrape edges). Package in cute cellophane bags & give to friends & family or add to your product line.

These are so much fun to make, so get creative! So simple and this gift can be enjoyed in the bath or shower.
